Grounded in the spirit of Mary Fletcher, the Society of Mary Fletcher pays tribute to the donors that have made provisions in their will or other planned gifts. Mary Fletcher, a life-long invalid, was determined to carry out the wishes of her family including the establishment of a hospital. Mary Fletcher made gifts to secure the site, erect a building and start our first permanent endowment, which still supports our services in charity care today. Today, the Mary Fletcher Hospital building serves as the historical centerpiece of Fletcher Allen’s Medical Center Campus in Burlington. By joining the Society of Mary Fletcher, you too can help secure the future of Fletcher Allen Health Care and our role in the community.
